When I initially tried this cleanser, I was not excited by it and felt as if I had to use a ton of it. HOWEVER, I am also used to products that lather when used on my face, but those same products also make my face feel tight and dry after using them. I continued using this cleanser, and found that each time I used it, I used less than I'm used to in order to get my face cleaned. I do double cleanse with it, and have seen amazing results using this in combination with the pomegranate serum and fresh face moisturizer at night, then the pomegranate face and neck cream in the morning. It does not make my face feel tight or dry whatsoever, and it even takes off the root mascara as well! The pomegranate line is honestly my favorite, and my skin truly has never looked or felt this amazing - ask anyone that knows me! Even through pregnancy and now postpartum, I’ve had minimal breakouts.

4 Stars only because I know this product is incredible for others (my mom) but not at all for me. My skin has never performed well with cream cleansers. I was hoping this would break the mold and change my mind, my fault, I knew better. While the cleanser is pleasant smelling and a lovely texture, my dry acne prone skin protested this switch. I have been breaking out quite a bit, (I've been using Root skincare for 2 years). I wanted to give this a fair shake so I've used it off and on for the past couple of weeks. Unfortunately every time I try it, I get the big sore deep pimples. Anything with alcohols... even natural ones gives my sensitive skin issues. I will stick with the Rose Otto Beauty Balm but I'm so glad I gave the trial a shot before committing to the full size.
