ABOUT THE ROOT MODEL SEARCH

The Root Model Search is a vital part of our company & has been since the beginning of Root. The Root model search is a fun way for our community to be the face of our company. We love using our customers in all of our marketing - there is nobody better to represent Root than YOU.

We are looking for one person to represent Root for a one-year term. If you have a passion for creating content, love beauty & want to get involved in our tight-knit community, then this is the gig for you. No matter your age, style or skill level, all are welcome to apply!

SO...What exactly does the root model do?

Our 2025 Root Model is an extension of the Root creative team & will be featured on our social media, ads, website & marketing.

You will work with the Root marketing team to create three videos per month.

The 2025 Root Model will represent Root from March 1, 2025 - February 28, 2026.

How to Enter

ROUND 1 • December 13 - January 12

1. Join the Inner Beauty Circle - our platform for our content creators.
This is how we will know you've entered! Your entry will populate in our Inner Beauty Circle system, PLUS you will earn $20 site credit for your entry.

2. Post an Instagram Reel, up to 90-seconds long, for your official Model Search entry. Be sure to tag us @rootpretty & use the hashtag #rootmodel2025.
Your video should show us the kind of content you would create for us as the 2025 Root Model.
TIP: We will be looking for high-quality videos, good lighting & your personality to shine through. Get creative - now is the time to WOW us!

3. Fill out the Round 1 Form.

ROUND 2 • January 14 - 21

Participants who move on to Round 2 will be asked to create a trending Reel. Round 2 will also consist of community voting - the person with the most votes will automatically move on to Round 3!

ROUND 3 • January 23 - February 9

Round 3 participants will receive a FREE Root product of their choice to feature in their Round 3 video. The Round 3 video will show your favorite product in action.

The winner of the 2025 Root Model Search will be announced on February 11.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does my Instagram page need to be public?

Yes! We require your Instagram page to be public both during the Model Search & during your time as a Root Model.

Do I need to be a certain age to apply?

You must be at least 18 years old by March 1, 2025 to enter. We encourage all ages to apply!

do i need to live in the u.s.?

Yes, the 2025 Root Model Search is only open to U.S. residents.

I'm not a content creator...can I still apply?

Absolutely! Most of our past Root Models were not content creators when they started. You don't have to be a professional photographer or have a background in content creation, nor do you need fancy camera equipment. We just look for high-quality photo & video, comfortability in front of the camera & an engaging personality.
