Joining the Pretty Points Program

WHAT ARE PRETTY POINTS?
Our Pretty Points program is designed to give you points for being a loyal customer - from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for being a Root customer! Those points can then be redeemed for a discount off future purchases of Root products. Pretty Points are earned for purchases made in store and online, please make sure you are logged into your Pretty Points account before ordering, we are unable to go back and add points to accounts for any past purchases. Referral Pretty Points are given to you when a first time customer orders $25 through your specific referral link (found in the Pretty Points portal under the Refer Friends tab).
WHO CAN JOIN?
Anyone can join Pretty Points! Checkout the Pretty Points portal located in the bottom right of our website.
WHAT PRODUCTS CAN I REDEEM PRETTY POINTS ON?
You can redeem Pretty Points on any Root products (anything made by Root)! You may not use Pretty Points on purchases that include products not made by Root, including Dr. Brite, Vera Mona, Z-Palettes, Dollup Beauty or products in the Root Holiday Shop (Sidecar Coffee Roasters, Marley's Monsters, LavaEssentials, eco-kids).

Earning Pretty Points

HOW DO I EARN POINTS?
Make sure you are logged into your Pretty Points account before placing your order. If checking out through PayPal or Amazon, first login to your account on our website, then checkout with any payment option as usual. You can earn points for every $1 spent at Root on any Root products (online and in store - make sure you use the same email in store as your online account) and referring friends. To see all the ways you can earn points click the Earn Points tab in the Pretty Points portal.
CAN I RECEIVE POINTS ON PREVIOUS PURCHASES AND LOYALTY ACTIVITY?
We are unable to give points on past purchases. Make sure that you are logged into your Pretty Points account before purchasing.
HOW DO I GET POINTS FOR REFERRING FRIENDS?
Share your unique referral URL found in the Pretty Points portal under Refer Friends with any new customers and earn 1,000 Pretty Points when they place an online order of $25 (minimum, after discount and before shipping). They must click and follow your referral link for you to earn referral points. Referral points are only given on first time online purchases by a new customer - there are no referral points for in store purchases. We are unable to give referral points if someone does not purchase through your direct referral link. It is your responsibility to make sure your referrals click through your link to purchase for the first time in order for them to be acquired as your referral and you earn points.
IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF POINTS I CAN EARN?
No. Go ahead and earn as many as you can!

Using Your Pretty Points

HOW DO I REDEEM MY POINTS?
In the Pretty Points portal, select the tab called Redeem Points. Here you’ll see all the rewards we offer. If you have enough points, you can redeem them for a reward.
CAN I COMBINE PRETTY POITNS ACCOUNTS OR TRANSFER POINTS?
We cannot combine Pretty Points accounts. Please use the same account each time you check out. Points are not transferable between accounts.
DO PRETTY POINTS EXPIRE?
Pretty Points do not expire, however should we ever discontinue our Pretty Points program any remaining points will no longer be available.

DO CLAIMED VOUCHERS EXPIRE?
Claimed Pretty Point vouchers expire in 10 years. Make sure to copy your voucher code & use that at checkout in the discount code box.
CAN I COMBINE PRETTY POINT VOUCHERS WITH OTHER DISCOUNT CODES?
Only 1 discount code is valid per order, it cannot be combined with other codes

Understanding Your Pretty Points Account

WHAT DO THE 'APPROVED', 'PENDING' and 'CANCELLED' STATUSES MEAN?
Approved: These points can be redeemed on rewards immediately
Pending: These points need to be verified before you can redeem them. This typically applies to purchases and referrals. There is a 14 day pending period on points earned through purchases to comply with our 14 day return policy.
Cancelled: These points will not be added to your account. For example, this will happen if you cancel a purchase (the points will change from pending to cancelled)
WHY DID MY ACCOUNT BALANCE GO DOWN?
You, or someone you referred, cancelled or returned a purchase.
WHAT HAPPENS IF A FRIEND I REFER CANCELS OR RETURNS THEIR ORDER?
Your pending points will become cancelled and will be removed from your account.
I COMPLETED AN ACTIVITY, BUT I DIDN'T EARN ANY POINTS!
It can sometimes take a few minutes for us to process your activity and provide your points.
CAN I USE MY POINTS DURING CHECKOUT?
Not directly - please redeem your points for a voucher which can then be applied during checkout.
HOW DO I VIEW MY POINT BALANCE?
Log into the Pretty Points portal found on the bottom right of our website. Your point balance is found in the top bar in the Pretty Points portal.
HOW DO I REPORT A PROBLEM OR GIVE FEEDBACK?

Leaving the Pretty Points Program

HOW DO I LEAVE THE PROGRAM?
If you no longer wish to earn points, please contact us and ask to be un-enrolled. We'll un-enroll you and you will lose any points you have accrued.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I LEAVE AND DECIDE TO JOIN AGAIN?
Just contact us and we'll re-enroll you. However, your point total will begin from zero.
