It's Root Model Search time!
Having our customers represent us is what we have been about since day one of Root. You are the heartbeat of our brand & we take great pride in being truly authentic in how we represent models at Root. That's why our customers have always been our models.

This year we are selecting three people to represent Root from February 2026 - August 2026.
Model Expectations:
We expect that you model our core values on your platform & in your life.
- Positive, loving & full of joy
- Dependable & hardworking while meeting deadlines
- Provide high-quality content
- On-brand style & aesthetic - we like real-life & simple videos, not overly produced. (If you use text in your video be sure it's simple & aligns with our branding.)
- Open communication with timely responses, please don't leave us on read for weeks
- Passionate about clean beauty & supporting women
- Engaging, you're willing to engage with the Root community online & if the opportunity arises in person
- Attention to detail, we take into consideration those who follow the entry guidelines carefully
- Monthly Commitment:
As a Root model you will provide us with one video a month (up to 90 seconds) that you also post to your own social media. - You will work with our marketing team to decide what content you will be filming. We love your ideas & would take any pitches you have for your monthly content. Depending on performance & reliability we may hire you to create more content than the one required video.
How to Enter:

- Must be 18 years of age - you may live anywhere in the world

Film three videos (as short as 7 seconds up to 90 seconds). These are completely up to you! ONE video must be more of your intro video about yourself & why you love Root (up to 90 seconds). The other two are up to you! Check out our social media for inspiration, while remaining true to yourself with the freedom of coming up with new ideas! Ideally we'd like you to be showcasing Root products in your video. If you don't have Root products already, be creative! We welcome you to the Root brand with open arms!
- Post your three videos to Instagram or Facebook & tag @rootpretty. If you don't see us comment on your post we likely have not seen it, please send it to our platforms via direct message or provide the link to us in email. On Instagram tag us both in the caption & also when posting tag our account. It's very important that your profile is public during the search so we can see your content, if you wish to make it private after the search that is ok. When posting use hashtag #rootmodel26.
- Complete 2026 Model Entry Form by February 15, 2026 (the sooner you complete the more time we have to watch your content - last minute entries make us assume your monthly content would be sent to us last minute as well - if torn between entrants we likely default to who completed their entry first)
Facebook & Instagram Voting
We will not be having a public voting this year, but we will, however, be adding everyone's photo to a collection on our Facebook. As you apply, we will be adding your photo in! Feel free to share it! We love to see your community cheering you on. We may also share your model search videos on our social media during & after the model search.
When will the winners be announced?
We will announce the three winners of our model search on February 18 via email prior to announcing on our social platforms. Make sure you add krista@rootpretty.com & hello@rootpretty.com to your email contacts.
Model Prize

- A prize package at the beginning of their term worth $500 (you get to help pick out the products you want)
- $500 cash distributed in six monthly payments once content is received
