I LOVE Root products, but this one just didn't work for me, and I hate to even write it. Usually, I will finish using the product since I bought it, but I don't know that I can even continue using this. I'm sure it can work for others, but I smelled bad after a couple of hours like I had no deodorant on at all. This scent was very earthy. It was hard/rough to rub on even after holding it under my armpit for a bit, which I truly don't have time to do every day, multiple times. The packaging was better than other sustainably-packaged deodorants I've tried! The stick slid up easily.

I really really was hopeful this would finally be the one, the deodorant that worked! Unfortunately, it was actually one of the worst I've tried. Maybe it was the earthy scent, maybe I should have tried a different scent. I've used natural deodorants for about five years now, and it's been a struggle this whole time.

I love Root and some of the products are amazing! So it makes me sad to leave a negative review. But, I smelled SO awful. I started to reapply throughout the day, but it felt like the deodorant stick itself started to absorb my body odor, so it got to the point where it felt like I was putting on the smell. All that said, I had to throw this one out.
