The 60 Second Smokey Eye

by Ivy Boyd on October 23, 2015
Somehow, no matter how hard I try to plan, I always end up in a rush when I'm getting ready for an event or night out. I haven't figured out where the time goes but what I have figured it out is how to complete a smokey eye in 60 seconds! This tutorial is for those times where looking frumpy just isn't an option and time is of the essence! Each eye takes about a minute and then just sweep on some cheek and lip color and you're golden. Well, not golden but in this case, Armor Gray.
  1. Start by picking up some Pretty All Day Gel Eyeliner on your Pro Vegan Flat Line Brush. Create a line across your top lashline and don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be perfect at all!
  2. Sweep what is leftover on your brush on your lower lash line and inner rim if you want.
  3. Immediately smudge the liner upwards with your finger, create a soft gradient of color. You'll want to do this as soon as possible because as you may know, our gel liner sets to a budge-proof finish in about 30 seconds!
  4. Dip your crease brush into Armor Gray Eyeshadow and work this onto the eyelid and into the crease. Work in circular motions to further blend the gel liner and create a beautiful smoke effect.
  5. Apply a generous coat of 100% Lash to top and bottom lashes. If you have extra time and want to go over your initial line on top, go for it.
  6. To complete the look, sweep a cooler-toned pink blush like Posey onto cheekbones.
  7. Swipe several layers of Waverly Pretty Balm on the lips to create a subtle lip to contrast with our sexy, smoked-out eyes.

Now all you need is your hair to behave and a killer outfit and you're out the door!
